Haworth UK was looking for designers, thinking about food in the office, for their part in Clerkenwell Design Week 2011 and accepted a collaborative proposal to exhibit my FreeLunch aquaponic system and Lisa Johanssons Compost Distiller in the Haworth show room.
On wednesday evening during Clerkenwell Design Week we gave a presentation of our concerns about the environment, which motivate our work and explained how our systems work as closed loops. But when we integrated them into one larger system something special happened. We ended the presentation serving the audience and eventually talking over a drink mixed from the combined produce of our systems. Have a look at the pictures to see the drink.
